Test Dry Your Product

M-E-C Company would be pleased to perform a laboratory drying test on your wet product to verify its drying characteristics. Typically, a test takes one to three days depending on the product characteristics and the quantity of the product to be dried. A drying test report and evaluation is provided by M-E-C after the conclusion of the test.

Our on-site laboratory can provide flash tube dryer testing, as well as rotary drum dryer testing. A flash tube dryer is used to dry very light, fluffy materials having a high ratio of surface area to mass. These particles lend themselves to flashing off moisture quickly. Rotary drum dryers are successfully used to dry more granular products, such as sawdust, and larger and longer products such as wood strands or chips. Products are generally within the 1/8 inch (3 mm) to 4 inch (100 mm) range.
